Street Closings In Newark For Halsey Festival

Newark Public Safety Director Anthony F. Ambrose announces that streets will be closed for the Halsey Street Festival. The event was postponed from its originally scheduled date and will be held on Thursday.

From 11 a.m. through 11 p.m., the following streets will be closed:

· Halsey Street between Central Avenue and Linden Street

· Bleeker Street between Washington and Halsey Street

· New Street between Broad and Washington Street

Drivers are advised to plan alternate routes.
